I had the privilege of photographing Maggie and Bryan’s wedding, and I was overjoyed to be able to photograph William. It is such a blessing to be able to grow with my past brides and grooms. William was in an out of sleep while I was playing with him, and had the cutest little smiles while he was dreaming. At just 10 days old, he is still really tiny!

Peyton had one of the most epic first look faces that I have ever seen, it was truly a delight! Peyton and Anissa were wonderful together, the way that they flowed together was as if they had known each other for years. For Peyton’s look, we decided to try something different and go with a white tux and black trim, it was quite dashing! Anissa’s dress was a different take on the standard mermaid dress, it had additional tulle on the back that really filled out the bottom of the dress.
The outdoor ceremony space at The Minneapolis Marriott SW is marvelous! When you are standing outside, you would have no idea that the hotel is right off of 169. With the pond and the pine trees, it really gives a woodsy feel. The birch bark arch that Lake Harriet Florist, Lesley put together was the perfect addition to the space! The wooden wreaths and the greenery gave the feeling that the arch was more a part of nature than a man made wedding arch!
The wedding cake that Heather at Enticing Icing made was a show stopper, not only did it have gorgeous detail with the gold leafing, but it tasted amazing! The intricate design that Heather puts into her cakes makes them look almost too beautiful to eat, but once you taste them you are not sorry for slicing the cake!

I absolutely love the Minneapolis Marriott SW, it is such a hidden gem! I’ve had the experience of photographing there as a Minneapolis Marriott Southwest Wedding Photographer for a couple weddings. I was excited for the opportunity to visit again! Abby was absolutely gorgeous in her dress, and the dress had such great movement. Blush dresses are so beautiful and this dress was no exception! One of “my moves” is I love to have brides twirl in their dresses.
Brittany from Bella Mystique was a huge asset and help to me when planning this event. We decided that we were going to switch things up from the normal ceremony setting and make this an intimate event. The circle candle ceremony setting is designed for the guests to encircle the bride and groom. This literally allows them to be surrounded by friends and family. The candles made it extremely romantic and also set the mood. We can not wait for this ceremony setting to be used by a couple!
I am overjoyed being a Minneapolis Wedding Photographer and I get so excited for every wedding and event. No event is the same and no dress is the same. All the vendors that participated in this shoot went over and above; to make it go off with a bang. It was a beautiful day and wonderful event!

The Minnesota Masonic Heritage Center in Bloomington has such a great expansive property. There are over 80 acres at the property and they are amazing for weddings and wedding photographers! This was a fun event to photograph, because I was able to see the inside of the Masonic Home (I’d only been on the ground prior to photograph a bride and groom and wedding party). I loved working the vendors, and can’t wait for the next time I am able to photograph at the Minnesota Masonic Home and also to work alongside such wonderful vendors!

There was an ongoing joke at Katie and Ross’ wedding that they were going out on the tractor for a honeymoon, the only thing is, it wasn’t a joke! They chose the tractor because “it’s fall and that’s what you do”! Ross proposed to Katie in a very unique way, but there is a little back story. Katie and Ross were hanging out at home one day, their fishing plans had changed due to Katie breaking her foot. Katie was in the living room relaxing and Ross went into the kitchen to get pickles, they LOVE pickles. Ross said he couldn’t open the jar of pickles, and Katie knew this couldn’t be true, because Ross has such big muscles! He brought the jar into the living room and said “look this jar of pickles came with something special”, got down on one knee popped the question, and the rest is history!
