US Bank Stadium Wedding Photographer – Minneapolis Wedding

Minneapolis Wedding

This was my fourth time being able to photograph an event as a US Bank Stadium Photographer, and my second time photographing as a US Bank Stadium Wedding Photographer! One of the most exciting things about being in the stadium for a private event is access to the field, and the locker room.  It’s like being backstage and seeing all the exciting pieces of the puzzle. Krystle and Reithen’s wedding was different, especially because of where their ceremony was held. They had their ceremony in the seating right outside the FMP Club and they stood where all the cameras are on game days. Their background was an amazing view of the field! Seriously though, you aren’t a real fan unless you get married at the US Bank Stadium, and Viktor the Viking it a guest!

Milestone Portrait Photography – Jordan Family Photographer

Evelyn’s Second Birthday Session

Milestone Portrait Photography

Jordan Family Photographer

This themed sessions was such a blast, Evelyn has a lot of energy, just like any two year old would. Her Mom, made all of the props for the session, and it turned out awesome! This was my second time being able to do a Milestone Portrait Photography session for this family, and it’s so wonderful to see Evelyn (and all of them) grow together as a family. Good thing there was a bouncy cow for her to stay bounce on, because that gave us wonderful facial expressions and kept her entertained!

When I asked Jason and Amy what they most love about each other, their answers were the same: “we are each other’s soulmate”. These two also said they simply just enjoy each other’s presence when they are together.  Amy and Jason said they also like to have silly conversations at night before bed about if some words are real words and other quirky thoughts. They chose Creeksbend Golf Course for their wedding because they loved that it was close to family and that it was a barn venue. It was a cold day, but everyone was champs about heading outside for photos.  How could we not at such a beautiful place?! As a Creeksbend Golf Course Wedding Photographer, there were so many places on the grounds for photos.  The bridges, the greens and of course the beautiful barn as a backdrop.

Courtney June Photography Studio

It has been a great fall season for families, even though the temperature has been so cold! There are still plenty of green areas to utilize, and it’s always nice as a Jordan Family Photographer to be able to utilize my in home Courtney June Photography Studio. The Z family has a new puppy, Loki, so it was essential to include him too! Having animals be a part of the portrait session is always a little bit of a challenge, but the end result is always worth it!

Lakeville Wedding Photography

This has been a wedding season of golf courses and ski chalets, and I love it! There are so many beautiful places to take photos, and a lot of green.  This time as a Brackett’s Crossing Country Club Wedding Photographer, it was no different.  It was slightly overcast for Caitlin and Lee’s wedding, but at least it wasn’t as cold as it is now! Caitlin and Lee are High School sweethearts, so for them their wedding was another significant milestone to all the years they have been together.  Anyone that is around them can see that they are head over heels for each other, and their constant laughter and upbeat attitudes are infectious.  These two are very family orientated so their wedding was a great celebration for everyone to come together and celebrate.  It really was one big party!

Being a Minneapolis Wedding Photographer,  I absolutely love being able to grow with my bride and grooms. I photographed Rob and Jess’s wedding a couple years ago, and was so excited when they emailed saying they were having a baby.  As a Jordan Newborn Photographer, I’m so lucky to have an in home studio. I always ask Mom and Dad’s to bring with items that are special to them and their newborn. With Peyton, we had her cute blanket to swaddle her in, and it worked out so great because she was kicking through mine! Peyton was awake through a lot of the session, but she had some cute expressions so it worked out so well. Her little tuto was a perfect match for all the tulle to show what a perfect little princess she is!

Olympic Hills Golf Club Wedding Photographer – Molly & Ben’s Wedding Photography

Molly & Ben’s Wedding Photography

Olympic Hills Golf Club Wedding Photographer

In Minnesota, winters can be really brutal and we all end up spending a lot of time inside.  When Molly and Ben met, they were Freshmen in college.  Being stuck inside during the winter, they played catch in the study rooms. Molly and Ben both have a love of football, so it’s no wonder that playing catch was one of the ways they connected.  Football also came into play when Ben proposed to Molly. They had just moved into their new apartment and were busy getting ready for friends to come over to watch football. Ben took her out on the deck, got down on one knee and proposed. Olympic Hills Golf Club is such a beautiful space for an outdoor ceremony, and it’s one of the reason they chose this location for their wedding. The beautiful grounds were definitely the perfect place for amazing photos and a great ceremony backdrop! It was so awesome to be an Olympic Hills Golf Club Wedding Photographer, and I can’t wait for the next opportunity!

The Landing

Britney and Boby have one of the most unique stories I have ever heard, and it’s not even the story that is so impressive.  They have been together for around a decade. Life has taken them different paths and they have always found their way back (Notebook anyone?). The Landing is a very special place to Britney, she visited it every year with her Grandma. And for me, it was great to be able to be a Three Rivers Wedding Photographer, again. She even said that they talked about getting married right in front of the water.  It was such a beautiful backdrop, I can see why! In the case of unforeseen weather, which never happens in Minnesota, right? There is a quaint little church that can be used for an indoor location. This was a perfect location for Britney to put on her dress!

Red Barn Farm Wedding – Northfield Wedding Photographer – Taylor & Alex’s Wedding Photographer

A couple’s story is always such a wonderful thing to hear and be told.  Alex and Taylor met when they were freshmen at NDSU.  They were attending a football game (Go Bisons!) with their friends and the two groups started talking and Alex and Taylor formed a friendship. Fast forward to after college, Taylor was about to head to Oklahoma City for Traffic Control Training (how awesome is that?) and they were out walking their dog- Koda. Alex had Koda sit and he took a knee and popped the question! They have two huskies that are literally their 4 legged fur babies, so why not have one of them be a part of the beginning of the next chapter?! As a Norfield Wedding Photographer I was so excited to shoot here!

Red Barn Farm was recently rebuilt after a tornado had done extensive damage.  The new barn is beautiful and still very much has the rustic feel of an old barn but with the new beauty of white brick and new wood. This is one of my favorite locations as a Norfield Wedding Photographer. The weather for the day of Taylor and Alex’s wedding was perfect, just a little bit of heat and a lot of sunlight. This is exactly what they wanted when they chose this location for their wedding!

Alex and Travis met their sophomore year of college when they were both working at Baja Grill. Not only was this a great place for them to meet and work together, but it also fell in line with their love of Mexican food. The night that Travis proposed, he even made shrimp fajitas! Alex and Travis chose Mystic Lake Center for their wedding because of the elegance and beauty.  Which could not be denied the day of their wedding, not only was the ballroom beautiful, but we had an epic sky and sunset!
