I can’t believe how fast fall is upon us and New Prague Seniors are settling into their Senior year.  What better to do then to start thinking about senior portrait photography? Location, clothing, etc. As a New Prague Senior Photographer, each session is different and a lot of fun.  Joe’s session had different elements than my past sessions.  We had a special car and dog to include!

Senior season is upon us! I can’t even believe it is the start of a new school year. The beautiful thing about Senior Portrait Photography sessions is that it is ALL ABOUT THE SENIOR! It is a great way to show off their personalities through the lens of the camera. As a New Prague Senior Photographer, I wanted to show off Krissy’s great smile.  She was a little shy at first, but once she became comfortable her smile really did shine!

As a Jordan Newborn Photographer, I am able to utilize my in home studio, it is so wonderful to be able to serve the community and be able to have access to all my props! When we planned Emily and Reid’s maternity session, we wanted Emily to really be showing. Well…we planned in perfect timing because Easton came TWO days later! Easton was awake for the better half of the session, but once we put on his MN Wilds he went right to sleep. He must have been dreaming about his future plans of playing hockey. Of course, we had to sneak in Bauer for a couple, he’s really enjoying being a big brother!

This month’s weddings have all been at ski chalets – which I absolutely love being a Hyland Hills Wedding Photographer. Three Rivers Park Weddings are always beautiful, and there is never a shortage of green! Megan and Matt both have extremely contagious laughs, and are so much fun to be around. Matt is a bit of a jokester, and apparently has quite a following on snapchat for his “no whey” snaps when him and Megan are grocery shopping, and in the protein powder aisle. Matt’s proposal wasn’t quite planned when he popped the question. Megan and Matt were on the couch talking about becoming engaged, and Megan said if he was that serious they would be engaged already.  Matt pulled out the ring and popped the question, right then and there!

One of the greatest things about being a Minneapolis Wedding Photographer is being able to grow with the couples! I started out photographing Emily and Reid’s engagement photography, then their wedding photography, now their maternity photography and soon their newborn photography! Being a Ritter Farm Park Photographer is always such a great event.  This parked is PACKED with places for amazing photos. As a Minneapolis Maternity Photographer, I always have some tricks up my sleeve for ideas, poses and places. This session was no different, as always Bauer was a big part of the shoot, he is going to be a big brother! Emily looks so adorable with her belly and Reid already has that new Dad shine to him.  I can’t wait to meet this little guy in a couple weeks!

It’s a lot of work to plan a wedding, but the place to start is by selecting the venue.  For Kim and Ian, they knew right away where to get married: Afton Alps. The reason this was so easy for them is the special meaning behind it- it’s where they had their first date.  Both Kim and Ian enjoy golfing, so what a perfect, fun and casual way to have a first date.  Anyone that around Kim and Ian can see they share an amazing bond, and their relationship is truly based on friendship and affection. Afton Alps was such a gorgeous setting for a wedding and I can’t wait to be an Afton Alps Wedding Photographer again.  There are just so many places for photos, and everywhere the eye can see is green!

What a fun reveal idea! The use of smoke bombs and a sparkler was a great way to announce the reveal of their soon-to-be born baby.  These two are excited to add another little boy to the mix! Just being able to be a St John’s the Baptist Catholic Church Photographer and document this occasion with the people important in his life. It’s not a birthday party until the safari animals have party hats! How cute are they?! I love being a birthday party photographer and photographing families.  It is so fun to be a part of such milestones in their lives.  This party had an ice cream bar and a theme.  It is always such a great reminder that we are all “fearfully and wonderfully” made.

Styled shoots are always such a great way for wedding vendors to get together and have a creative outlet.  This shoot was awesome, because Belle’s Event Center is a new venue! As a Belle’s Event Center Wedding Photographer, I am able to have full use of the grounds – I can not wait till the trees are blossoming, and the beauty inside the venue. We used dusty blue as the color for this shoot, and the flowers were amazing! We could not have asked for a nicer day with the blue sky in the orchard. Can’t wait for the opportunity to shoot a Belle Plaine Wedding here!
