Hayley and Mike were married at the Minneapolis Municipal Commission, this building is amazing! It has such beautiful architecture and the marble is breathtaking. We went out to Hayley’s grandparent farm in Medina for some bride and groom photos and to include the dogs (which I am ALWAYS a fan of!). The barn had such character, and the farm was a great way to have a little bit of country and a little bit of big city. When Hayley and Mike decided to have their wedding in February, the were hoping for a little bit of snow. Being that we had such a weird winter, there wasn’t any snow, but we were thankful that it was a little colder so there wasn’t any mud!
I absolutely love weddings. One of the best part of my job is that I get to be a part of the bride and groom’s big day. I get to capture moments that no one else is able to be a part of. One part of Mike and Hayley’s day that was really special was making a stop at the assisted living to visited her Grandma. Because of health reasons, she wasn’t able to attend the wedding, so we brought a part of the wedding to her! It was a very heartfelt gesture that Hayley wanted to include, and I couldn’t have been happier to do. I loved seeing Grandma’s face light up!
